If it's just analog to digital, I'd just use a component cable and external adapter personally. Or do a proper digital mod.

Don't bother buying the EZ Flash Parallel. It has already been abandoned by the developers and it has a serious bug where sleep mode is broken and you can't close the DS lid. The EZ Flash Parallel was hyped up by the big RUclipsrs and it has been quickly forgotten ever since.

I've attempted this mod on 2 consoles now and have failed both times. consoles pop and turn off after a few seconds. everything I've found online points to a failed ribbon cable but I see no damage on mine. Really frustrating. not a fan of how delicate these components are. wish I at least knew which cable failed

Correct me if I am wrong, but it might be a good idea to put Kapton tape on the pins or other important parts of the cart if you are new to soldering. It looks super easy on a video, but I had too much solder on the tip of the iron and a drop fell onto my GBC pins turning them silver and thought I ruined my game forever.

Very nice mod. However, it concerns me only two m2 screws are used to mount the mod kit. I have seen original Xbox console solder connections connected to power weaken and fail. There is not very much that is actually mounting it to the form factor. Pulling an HDMI cable in and out eventually works the PCB mod loose. I say there should be more support to mount the mod. His form factor is a modification removing the DVD drive. Actually, why would you remove the DVD drive anyway?
